Diamond & Gemstone Sales Specialist is responsible for proactively selling diamonds to new & existing customers via outbound calling, trade show attendance, & possible travel to individual accounts.
Individual must also be able to field inbound ordering on an as needed basis.
The individual must be self-starting motivated candidate who will build programs and pricing as well as provide personal contact to build business relationships and provide exceptional customer experiences during all interactions.
The D&G Sales specialist will develop the knowledge through continuing education provided on the job and become fluent in the technical characteristics and terminology of both diamond and gemstones, screening, reporting and the value proposition of Stuller.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Daily Auditing and reconciling of Diamond and Gemstones inventory using scanning tools and equipment
Processing customer returns
Proactive outreach to customer to resolve product returns
Receiving customer orders via phone, email, and chat then processing those orders via order entry systems
Maintaining customer info and data in CRM (Salesforce)
Negotiating with the customer on behalf of Stuller on buying diamonds they are hoping to sell us.
Work cross functionally with other departments to fulfill customer requests and requirements
Taking inbound customer sales calls when call volume is high or support is needed
Complete GIA Classes
Attend trade shows
Excellent at multitasking and managing multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and common computer web search solutions and other software
Basic math skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with the customer
Ability to work independently the majority of the time
Must be extremely accurate
Ability to quickly adapt to new learnings or direction

Prior experience in customer service, receiving returns, handling money, auditing
