The role of the Customer Success Trainee is an inside sales position, dedicated to providing excellent customer service and proactive selling to an assigned book of business.
The position is primarily phone based and requires the ability to lead with empathy, serve our customers, and build lasting customer relationships.
The fundamental intent of this role is to be a true business partner for customers within their book of business, gaining an understanding of their business situation and plans to ensure that you are identifying growth potential for their business.
This understanding will be paired with the Stuller product assortment to effectively match their business goals with the products, services, and resources that Stuller can offer to support their growth.
The ideal candidate is relationship-driven but still always inspired to close the deal.
The Customer Success team is a highly skilled, cross-functional team who regularly goes above and beyond to meet their customers’ needs.
A crucial part of this role is having a can – do, no task too small and no problem too big attitude.
The ability to keep calm under pressure is a must, as the team often works with high needs customers.
To succeed in this role, a candidate must be a confident decision maker and creative problem solver.
Participate in continued product education and required trainings to gain an expertise level of knowledge of key products.
Demonstrate a genuine curiosity about customer business needs and ability to custom tailor solutions to a small book of business (50-100 accounts).
Contact assigned accounts based on their business needs to maintain a high touch relationship and foster growth, making 15-20 strategic proactive phone calls per week.
Conduct self-led research on accounts to ensure the communication is targeted, valuable to the customer and efficient.
Ability to manage a multichannel approach to customer communication via phone, email, and face to face meetings.
Participate in sales campaigns with a goal of selling specific items within a specific time frame.
This position requires employees to work in-house at our facility in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Ability to effectively sell yourself and gain trust, regardless of your experience.
