  • Positions in this class independently perform tasks of highest degree of responsibility and difficulty while remaining general-clerical in nature.
  • These tasks include contract preparation, extensive reports requiring calculations, interpretation of reports and providing appropriate services.
  • Incumbents usually work under the direction of a division manager and may lead others in area of expertise, but they do not act in a supervisory role.
  • Current opening is in the PARC department, under the Arts & Culture division.
  • Incumbents will be required to work irregular hours in order to be present for events at the Heymann Performing Arts & Convention Center.
  • Future openings may have other areas of assignment.

Salary Range: $2,332-$2,915/Month/DOE


Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school, supplemented by college level course work in business, office administration or liberal arts and sciences, and extensive progressively responsible experience in area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in clerical positions of higher responsibility.
  • Examination will be a written test.
  • Note: The Clerk III (General) application and testing process is separate from that used to fill positions using the Clerk III (Finance & Management) and Clerk III (Meter Services) examinations.
