Description

  • The CFO will report to the President, have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.
  • This will include but not limited to direct responsibility for accounting, finance, planning and forecasting, company-wide analytical data and tools, taxation, treasury, legal, risk management, and key outside relationships.  
  • This is a hands-on leadership role that requires high-level complex accounting and finance responsibilities while giving guidance and direction to leaders of all levels across the company.


Responsibilities

  • Participate and engage with the Leadership team in the development, execution, and continuous measurement of corporate strategy.
  • Continuously identify the need for improvement and change and lead change initiatives that drive engagement and successful execution – a Champion of Change.
  • Continue to support the data driven culture and further develop software tools and data analytics for all leaders that allow them to recognize and respond swiftly to shifting business changes.
  • Play a key role in the growth and success of the company, ensuring the appropriate capital structure and balance sheet is in place to fund the company’s growth while establishing key performance indicators to measure success and communicate results to support the business growth
  • Drive agile and effective financial planning, rolling forecast and long-range business planning processes.
  • Be a leader in a culture that demands respect for others, creates a climate for transparency and openness about successes and mistakes, requires engaging and challenging debates, works collaboratively across all divisions, reaches data driven decisions and maintains a constant growth mindset.
  • Support and enhance the company culture of collaboration, teamwork, and excellence.
  • Identify and measure risks to encourage appropriate risk taking and support a transparent and rigorous dialog and debate in reaching key business decisions.
  • Oversee the preparation and communication of weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements providing insight and recommendations.
  • Oversee the Accounting Department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases, and financial software.
  • Continue building and developing a world class finance team.
  • Lead the finance department of the company to ensure alignment with company goals and focuses.
  • Ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures.
  • Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
  • Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.


Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 10+ years progressive experience within the finance function of a dynamic and growth-oriented company
  • 5+ years of experience in a Senior Financial position
  • Strong written and oral communication, influencing, and listening skills with the demonstrated ability to articulate reasoning and clear thought processes to diverse audiences
  • Capable of driving change transformation and strategy execution to achieve specific business results
  • Strong organizational and business process skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior in exercising judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Strong business acumen and ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge
  • Track record of building and leading effective teams; evidence of building a customer-centric, data-driven team culture and coaching/developing others to maximize their potential
  • Commitment to the Team over self
  • Leadership in a large, multi-country and product organization
  • Strong cultural competence and appreciation for working with cross functional teams in an organization committed to transparency, data driven decisions, engaging and challenging debates, and formulates data driven decisions
