The role of the Merchandising Product Manager - Bridal is to develop and execute a merchandising business plan to help successfully grow the profitability of one of the jewelry industry’s largest suppliers.
Managing a portion of the Bridal business, this associate will be responsible for partnering with product development teams, managing pricing & inventory, and creating marketing strategies.
In this dynamic role, they will work cross-functionally with various internal teams and external partners to help ensure we are best servicing our customer base.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for development a holistic merchandising plan in relation to the lifecycle of product.
Partner with internal product development team to create an offering of on trend and essential products based on an assortment plan
Work with vendor partners to bring on new styles to fill assortment gaps. Responsible for vendor pricing negotiations.
Partner with marketing to develop marketing materials and promotions to successfully launch new products.
Creation of customer selling solutions to help win in-case business within jewelry stores.
Analyze market conditions and industry trends to drive decisions related to product.
Marketing responsibilities, including paginating seasonal brochures and catalogs, along with proofing copy and artwork and seeing it through completion
Using provided reporting tools to analyze the business and maximize profitability.
The ability to engage and inform large groups of people through presentations.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management and other departments.
Responsible for product and business forecasting based on market trends, planned promotions, historical performance, etc.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree (4-year college degree or equivalent) in Merchandising or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable

Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
Direct work experience in a merchandising/business management capacity ideal
