Key Responsibilities:
Design, document, develop, integrate, and test software using C++
Participate in peer reviews of design and software
Participate in requirements development
Participate in system architecture development
Participate in project estimation, scheduling, and tasking
Provide technical supervision and mentoring of developers
Research and review white papers, with the ability to technically discuss the pros and cons of said approach
Analyze performance data in order to identify strengths and weaknesses in the system

Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
6+ professional software development experience
Strong working knowledge of computer science theory and practice
Strong working knowledge of software development using modern C++ and STL
Strong working knowledge of collaborative software development in a Linux environment
Knowledge of design patterns
Strong working knowledge of linear algebra
Strong working knowledge of extended Kalman filters and nonlinear state estimation
Strong working knowledge of shallow learning, neural networks, and deep learning techniques
Strong working knowledge of Bayesian statistics
Ability to travel 10% of time
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong working knowledge of OpenCL or CUDA
Strong working knowledge of OpenCV Strong working knowledge of Eigen
Working knowledge of Python
Strong working knowledge of machine learning performance metrics, such as mAP and IoU
Familiarity with marine sensing equipment, i.e. GPS, radar, and AIS
Experience designing multi-sensor, multi-target sensor fusion algorithms for target state estimation
