Position Description:
- CGI is looking for a Lead/Senior Analyst to join at our onshore location.
- This candidate will serve as a technical expert of a large-scale digital technology project consisting of both on-shore and off-shore presence.
- The above resource will be providing the oversight to the activities performed by the L1 team and ensures quality to the project deliverables.
- The resource will represent team in issue bridges to coordinate the client communications and team’s technical activities.
- Will work closely with management teams on critical activities, planning and trainings.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Application support experience with troubleshooting the issues including analyzing the log files.
- Should be able to participate and lead critical issue calls, for team.
- Very strong in technical concepts, Analytical and Problem-solving skills, with ability to confidently interact with client
- Researches and evaluates alternative technical solutions
- Resolve issues that other junior team members are unable to solve.
- Provide technical solutions to problems encountered in the team.
- Provide innovative ideas and solution to complex as well as rather simple looking problems
- Should be flexible to extended and weekend hours (once in a month) during critical timelines to provide the periodical oversights.
- Should be able to work in business hour overlapping shifts for critical meetings and activities.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 3+ years of experience on Java / J2EE / Enterprise Java solutions
- Excellent knowledge of database (PL/SQL, Oracle, DB2)
- Experience developing and consuming SOAP and REST web services for an operational/production environment
- Excellent Knowledge of Tomcat, Apaches, WAS, and IIS
- Extensive experience on Linux systems.
- Good knowledge of Windows, Linux server configurations.
- Researches and evaluates alternative technical solutions
- Experience on monitoring tools like Dynatrace/DT Managed, GlassBox, TrueSight, Splunk, Humio/Log insight
- An inherent ability to solve problems and provide solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must.
