LEDA Virtual Job Fair

 

Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.


In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.





Position: Senior Corporate Recruiter (SchoolMint)

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans including partnering with hiring managers, creating job descriptions, actively sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extending offers, and measuring and reporting the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
  • Network with and source candidates through industry contacts, association memberships, university career contacts, trade groups, social media, and employee referrals
  • Manage company attendance and participation at career fairs
  • Set up career hosting events at SchoolMint office locations
  • Set continuous quality recruitment goals aligned to company values and departmental objectives
  • Under the guidance of the VP of Human Resources, review and understand the recruitment year over year hiring projections
  • Establish an ongoing pipeline of candidates to address future new roles and backfills
  • Manage the hiring process in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Greenhouse. Must quickly become the subject matter expert on Greenhouse
  • Make candidate recommendations to hiring managers, providing guidance on which potentials to move to the next level and which to consider for another position and/or end the process  
  • Timely follow-up on the interview process status with candidates and hiring managers
  • Communicate employer information and benefits during the screening process
  • Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Provide recruiting metrics to Senior Leadership on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Active member of SchoolMint’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee representing recruitment
  • Create and manage diversity, equity and inclusion goals with the Senior Leadership and hiring managers
  • Conduct recruiting and onboarding surveys with candidates and new hires to ensure our processes meet the company’s objectives
  • Support the HR and People Operations team with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

3+ years experience as a full-cycle recruiter. Technical recruiting experience desired. International recruiting experience an added plus
Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and make hiring decisions free of bias and preconceived notions
Proven ability to drive and successfully execute full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments within established company metrics
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to speak with all levels of management and all types of candidates
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Self-starter who enjoys networking and connecting with people
Respectable appreciation for diversity, equity, and inclusion
You are calm under pressure and can handle stressful situations with a pleasant demeanor
You’re fluent in G-Suite, Dropbox, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and tech doesn’t scare you
You have a strong interest in EdTech and education
