Position: Contracts Manager

Fenstermaker is seeking a responsible, organized, and experienced Contracts Manager to join our growing organization. In the position, this person will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining all company contracts. They will negotiate terms and conditions, consult with internal teams for compliance, and represent the company when dealing with clients and external business partners.

 ·         Prepare and/or review and approve contracts from clients, prime consultants, sub-consultants, and vendors

·         Prepare and/or review and approve work orders from clients and prime consultants

·         Prepare and/or review and approve non-disclosure / confidentiality agreements from clients, prime consultants and subconsultants

·         Interface with Legal and Insurance to eliminate or mitigate risk

·         Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms

·         Communicate specific contract terms and conditions to internal team members

·         Review corporate legal claims/lawsuits and collaborate with legal and insurance

·         Review subpoenas, collaborate with outside legal counsel, coordinate employee depositions when required, and coordinate the production of internal material, documents, emails, etc. when requested in subpoenas

·         Review, negotiate and execute leases (office, apartments, hotels, and storage facilities)

·         Review rate schedules with CFO and corporate Production group leaders

·         Interact and collaborate with corporate accounting group on some client and project setup when contract details necessitate

·         Maintain organized system of physical and digital records


·         Organized, strong attention to detail, thorough, good listener, collaborative, adaptable to unplanned change, timely, problem solver, and highly motivated

·         Very knowledgeable in the language of contracts with the ability to read, understand, translate and sometimes write legalese

·         Ability to identify and estimate any possible contract related risk

·         Ability to initiate, negotiate, implement, manage, and renew contracts

·         Effective communicator and relationship builder with internal team members, external legal counsel, external team members, and client representatives

·         Ability to learn the operations drivers and business drivers of this corporation

·         Proficient with office software (Word, Excel, etc.) and third-party contractor management systems (Avetta, PEC, ISN, Veriforce, Browz, Ariba, etc.) utilized by clients

·         Bachelor’s degree from accredited university

·         Eight years or more of professional experience in contract administration
