LEDA Virtual Job Fair


Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.

In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.


1. Serves as primary “Point of Contact” for the Materials Management storeroom, answering all calls for supplies, equipment, and stat orders during the day shift.
2. Handles all “service recovery” occurrences, such as failure to fill supply par or two bin areas, equipment shortages, and backorder issues by first addressing the pressing need with the departments, then following up on the “root cause” of the problem and working with the Materials Manager and/or Director of Supply Chain Operations to put procedures into place to address these issues.
3. Ensure that daily storeroom activities are complete per scheduled task descriptions.
4. Monitors daily orders from end users to ensure that supply and equipment orders are delivered and complete within the standard two hour time frame, and follows up with end users to ensure their needs are met to their satisfaction.
5. Helps to assess the daily supply needs of the hospital, and coordinates activities to meet these needs. Assists with daily duties of storeroom staff if necessary.
6. Monitors par and Point of Use System activity levels and ensures adequate stocking at a user department level.
7. Monitors any shortages or “Stock Out’s” on a department level and assists in providing substitutes or relocation/reallocation of supplies as needed.
8. Monitors placement and par levels of supplies in Materials Management storeroom to ensure proper
inventory and stock levels are maintained.
9. Provides information to internal customers regarding the status of stocked supplies, new supplies, and supply resources.
10. Assists in the coordination of flow of supplies from receiving to the Materials Management
Storeroom and/or the OR area and user departments. Coordinates any special delivery activities necessary for offsite departments or clinics.
11. Communicates with user departments to uncover any trends or supply issues. Proposes solutions to issues in collaboration with Materials Manager and/or System Supply Chain Director of Operations.
12. Handles any special projects, such as the reorganization of a user supply area, Point of Use System or supply rooms.
13. Assists the Materials Manager and/or Director of Supply Chain Operations in any and all matters related to supply chain distribution.


1. High School Diploma and/or GED required.

2. Minimum of three (3) years healthcare supply management experience.

3. Computer skills to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

4. Good listening and communications skills and the ability to interact well with clinicians, ancillary

departments, administration and coworkers.

5. Any combination of education, training and experience with could produce the required knowledge

and abilities will be considered.

6. Must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the

position description.
