In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.





Position: IT Help Desk Support Technician

General Summary

Provide assistance to internal personnel through support in the use of office automation products, personal computers, online application systems, and user based peripherals, etc. Investigate and resolve computer software and hardware problems of users.

Essential Functions

• Provide level 1 support for internal issues reported by users via phone, email, service desk system, or in person.

• Provide level 2 support for digital channels such as online banking, mobile banking, and eStatements.

• Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of PCs, printers, terminals, etc., coordinating with technical support and vendors as necessary; coordinates with other I.S. staff to resolve hardware, software, and network problems.

• Provide ongoing support to all levels of the organization's staff in the use of end user hardware and software products; notifies users of new features available through product updates.

• Install end user hardware and PC software.

• Assist in ensuring administrative control over the end user hardware and software assets of the company and related supplies and accessories through maintenance of inventories, files, logs, etc.

• Perform other job related duties as assigned
Performance Measurements:

1. Possess a solid understanding of PCs and a variety of hardware and software

2. Respond to support requests

3. Provide support and training to company personnel in the use of hardware and software products

4. Maintain hardware and software documentation

5. Provide friendly, professional accurate service and support to all clients and co-workers



Qualifications:
Experience:
Six months to two years of similar or related experience

Education:
Minimum Requirement: A high school education or GED

Desired/Optional: (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in house training or apprenticeship program is preferred, but not required.

Interpersonal Skills:
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion

Other Skills:
Must be organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:
Work required includes occasional physical activity including lifting, bending, squatting, twisting and reaching

Work Environment:
Position requires occasional travel outside of office. Reliable vehicle required.

$33,664-$50,496
