LEDA Virtual Job Fair

 

Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.


In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.





Position: Executive Director

The Lafayette Bar is in search of an energetic, creative and exceptionally organized professional to lead its nearly 900 member Association and Foundation as the new Executive Director.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing a talented and diverse staff
• Implementing and directing the goals and objectives of the Association and Foundation as determined by the Boards of Directors
• Developing and managing $900,000+ annual budgets for a 501(c)6, a 501(c)3 and one governmental entity
• Planning and executing all member service and community outreach efforts
• Obtaining significant corporate sponsorships for events
• Writing successful grant applications and management of grant reporting
• Collaboration with other nonprofit organizations to expand or create new programs and services
• Direct all external and internal communications for both the Association and Foundation
• Representing the Association and Foundation at community and professional events and meetings
• Overseeing Lafayette Bar facilities and building

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
• A Bachelor’s degree and a proven track record of nonprofit, or other professional trade association management
• Strong financial management skills including accounting, budgeting, and long term fiscal planning
• Experience working with governing Boards, staff and volunteers
• Experience with membership databases or other CRM platforms
• Proficiency in multiple software applications including QuickBooks, Microsoft office and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is a plus.

This position requires work on some weeknights and weekends with out of town travel for approximately three to five meetings/conferences per year.
