LEDA Virtual Job Fair


Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.

In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.

Position: Recruiter

We're looking for the best and brightest who can help us inspire moments of happiness through our brands and actions. Our Recruiter implements and manages United’s recruitment programs, policies and procedures. Ensures staffing processes align with current and future workforce needs. Develops sources for qualified applicants.
• Partners with hiring managers on all job postings. Utilizes Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for hiring process. Responsible for ensuring UNITED hiring process is in place and ensures accuracy in ATS system regarding candidate record.
• Maintains accurate documents and processes on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, and announcements is crucial
• Abides by all employment laws during hiring process. Responsible for conducting phone interviews for qualified candidates for open positions. Generates background, motor vehicle report and E-Verify screens, and compiles HR Review Template for all applicants by open position.
• Schedules and conducts new hire orientation and educates newly hired employees on United’s culture, brands and policies. Prepares and administers New Hire Paperwork. Distributes the Post Hire Medical History Questionnaire. Ensures I-9 Compliance within the first 3 days of employment.
• Develops and maintains contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants via face to face meetings. Manages on-campus and off-site recruitment programs including job fairs. Spends a minimum of 4 days/quarter to develop institutional relationships.
• Processes position requisition forms and collaborates with hiring manager and Employee Relations Manager on incremental positions and appropriate job titles. Responsible for partnering with ATS Dispatcher to ensure all necessary documents for position posting are submitted timely.
• Schedules pre-employment drug screen and physical (if applicable) and communicates results and start date to hiring manager.
• Partners with Employee Relations Manager and hiring manager to determine effective recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates.
• Creates new requisition folders to include Data Requisition form, Job Description, all Phone Screen notes and all Face to Face Interview notes.
• Assists/supports general employee questions.
• Travels to all locations within the Division.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be in compliance with CCBCU Fleet Policy.
• SAP experience preferred
• Applicant tracking experience preferred
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must have experience with high volume application screening processes.
• Must be willing to travel throughout the Division.
