LEDA Virtual Job Fair

 

Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.


In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.





Position: Asset & Configuration Manager (CGI)

• Manage the asset and configuration management system (CMS) to securely store Configuration Item (CI) data and provide accurate information for risk assessment and incident resolution

• Develop and promote the value of Asset & Configuration management policies, processes and procedures within the organization to ensure compliance and reduce risk

• Implement effective processes and controls for maintaining the configuration management system, thereby maintaining the integrity and security of the configuration management system

• Record and track software licenses while ensuring compliance according to vendor contracts,

• Undertake regular audits of the configuration management system and configuration item data, and develop and implement processes to remediate non-compliance and ensure that the database reflects the production environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years’ experience working on an IT Asset Management team in an environment equal to or larger than 5000 employees, and with a complex infrastructure

• Extensive experience using ServiceNow with functional knowledge of the asset, discovery, contract and CMDB modules

• Operational experience performing asset data audits and data reconciliation

• Competency in creating and reviewing IT processes, policies, and reports

• Proficiency in data analysis within Microsoft Excel

• Strong documentation skills

• Must be strongly detail-oriented and accurate

• Customer focused: demonstrating empathy with others, good listening and questioning skills

• Ability to work well with others, contribute to team values and rapport-building across the organization

• Effective prioritization skills with the ability to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Ability to work flexible schedules

• Ability to be pro-active and assertive in garnering information to insure accuracy of data
