LEDA Virtual Job Fair

 

Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.


In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.





Position: In House Recruiter

1. Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues in line with company objectives.
2. Implements Human Resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor relations.
3. Manages Human Resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching and counseling staff.
4. Develops and maintains human resources operations financial strategies.
5. Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions.
6. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
7. Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the Company policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
8. Maintains responsibility for Company compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to all personnel matters and ensures all are followed.
9. Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CEO, on personnel matters.

Qualifications:

This is a full-time exempt position. Regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. but require effort beyond the regular work day and Monday – Friday schedule.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or four to 10 years’ related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master’s degree / Certificate is preferred.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desired.
