LEDA Virtual Job Fair

 

Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.


In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.





Position: Administrative Coordinator 3 (SLCC)

Manage grants and grant information once it has been awarded.
Manage student workers - monitor scheduling and daily productivity.
Greet and respond to walk-in guests and answer telephones.
Conduct one-on-one onboarding sessions.
Notate instructor schedules on a weekly basis.
Accept payments in Xenegrade.
Keep files organized and complete data entry with accuracy and efficiency.
Create adjunct contracts.
Provide student support while attending class.
Follow-up with students once they have left class.
Fax student work applications.
Complete student verifications for Business and Industry partners who hire our students.
Manage Salesforce for CDL.
Schedule and instructor for CDL related courses when they are scheduled and payment is completed.
Create/maintain invoices for all CDL courses.
Copy required paperwork for CDL classes (ex. Orientation packets).
Ensure all files meet DOT requirements (DOT audits and folder checklist).
Create completion certificates.
Record IBC's in Xenegrade as students complete the program.
Collaborate to create class schedule for all CDL campuses.
Assist in managing the CDL lead instructor schedule (ex. confirming meetings, etc.).
Maintain the wait list of potential students for Diesel Mechanic and Power Line Man programs.
Maintain the book inventory.
Create quotes for requisitions.
Process approved quotes (by CDL Instructor) into requisitions for PO's.
 Involvement and Development
Support department in improving efficiency and streamlining workflow.
Work independently within a team on special and ongoing projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Two years of experience in which clerical work was a major duty.
Training in a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for the required experience on the basis of six months of training for six months of experience for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
Completion of a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute will substitute for a maximum of one year of the required experience.
College training will substitute for the required experience on the basis of 15 semester hours for six months of experience.
