Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.

In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.

Position: LPN w/Management Experience

Acadiana Brain Injury Center has been in business for more than 25 years. We offer a Day Neuro Treatment Program and a Residential Program for adults who have experienced a brain injury. The program is designed to help participants maximize functional recovery as they return to home, community, work and school by participating in a safe and supportive environment.

As the Patient Care Coordinator you will directly impact patient care and be able to plan, arrange and supervise activities associated with patient care management in a post-acute rehabilitation setting. You will be responsible for assisting in aspects of the center's clinical operations to include but not limited to:

- Caring for the clients - impact lives and deliver optimal clinical outcomes
- Create a vision and set goals for your team to continue improving our clients' quality of life
- Caring for our staff members by developing, mentoring and inspiring a cohesive team
- Lead a team of 12 - 15 staff members by incorporating our goals and mission within all aspects of the center.
- Interview, hire, train and mentor - this is your team!
- Oversee care of clients, proper maintenance of patient records, proper documentation, quality assurance, patient plans of care, and progress regarding achievement of targeted treatment objectives.
- Maintain effective communication with members of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team, clients and staff
- Monitor health and safety issues (vital signs, seizures, etc)
- Complete all annual mandatory educational requirements
- Have a consistent presence at work.

Must be an LPN with active license in the state of Louisiana with at least 3 years of management experience. Rehabilitation experience is a requirement. Successful completion of pre-employment, post-offer drug screen, health screen to include TB clearance.
