LEDA Virtual Job Fair

 

Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.


In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.





Position: Investment Banker (VP of Business Development)

Work with executive leadership and lead all business development activities and strategic partnerships for internal expansions, to include acquisitions.

Conduct market and competitor analyses.

Build and maintain relationships with corporate leadership, target companies, industry and professional networks that can assist in identifying M&A targets, as well as an outside-in perspective of key trends in the market.

Drive M&A pipeline, business case development, deal structuring, contract negotiations and stakeholder management for a set of priority solutions and areas that have been identified that are critical to executing a growth strategy.

Participate in marketing activities and idea generation.

Keen attention to detail while maintaining broad strategic advisory perspective.

Manage the preparation of offers, valuations, negotiations, development and review definitive agreements working capital targets and post-closing adjustments.

Lead overall deal and due diligence activities and timelines and coordinate functional diligence reviews such as accounting, tax, legal, HR, IT etc.

Help develop and ensure plans for post-merger integration are in place and track performance of completed deals.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, master’s preferred.

Three (3) plus years of total professional investment banking experience with increasing levels of responsibility, with a proven track record of leading transformational change.

Top caliber M&A skills with the ability to assess, negotiate and close transactions.

Strong experience in high growth business management and fast paced product and technology transition-looking beyond the current market to identify critical opportunities for growth.

Highly motivated, high impact, energetic self-starter, passionate about Corporate and Business Development, who can thrive in a high performance, results-driven environment.

Proven track record of inspiring others to a vision and actively managing a highly professional, cross-functional team.

Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance market needs with business strategies and priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions.

Excellent networking skills and the ability to deliver the highest standards of customer service.

The ability to demonstrate an inclusive style of leadership, supported by clear understandable strategies with a strong focus on results.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills at all levels, including people management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
