LEDA Virtual Job Fair


Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.

In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.

Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist (Driver) (Waitr)


  • Partners with City Managers to determine staffing needs and best recruiting process for position(s).
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory. 
  • Processes job requisitions (if applicable)
  • Manages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as social media, blogs career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates. Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.
  • Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc. 
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Conducts employment verifications (if applicable).
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers (if applicable).
  • Coordinates background checks.
  • Maintains employee referral program. 
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Completes reporting on employment activity. 
  • Conducts exit interviews with terminating employees. 
  • Completes unemployment claims and provides company representation at unemployment hearings. 

Bachelor's degree, preferably in management with human resources concentration.
Minimum of one year of recruiting (highly desired), customer service, marketing, and/or communications.
