Delta Media has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager with a successful programming background and excellent leadership skills. This is an amazing opportunity to work in one of the most unique markets in the country. You will oversee a cluster of 6 incredible stations with the following formats: Sports, Country, Classic Hits, Triple A, Urban AC,and Latin Hits

The Operations Manager is a leadership role responsible for all of Delta Media’s Radio assets. The Ops Manager will be in charge of overseeing programming strategies, technical execution, and is ultimately responsible for the quality of all radio products.

In addition to operations, the Ops Manager is expected to have programming knowledge that can be applied to multiple formats. This will require extreme attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coach talent.

Required Skills
• Manage and develop Program Directors, production staff, and On-Air Talent.
• Analyze ratings and market research to improve ratings and TSL.
• Oversee each brand's digital platform. Knowledge of HTML and SEO is a major plus!
• Assist in designing & executing live events in the market.
• Provide exceptional leadership and oversight for direct reports, including guidance, identifying development opportunities, and team building.
• Expert audio production skills and an deep understanding of music scheduling/database maintenance.
• An understanding of the technical side of audio automation and satellite programming.
• Provide visible leadership and communications to the market

Required Experience
• Experience in programming and digital brand management
• Understanding of the South Louisiana market
• Understanding of industry trends and revenue drivers and an ability to create and develop a brand that engages audiences
• High level organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Strong problem solving and decision making ability
• Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations
• Fearlessness and calm in the face of a fast moving environment that requires strong leadership
