About this Job:
The Central Operations team is looking for a new Technician III – Nightshift Lead in the New Iberia, LA Central Repair shop.

Your key responsibilities:

A Lead Technician:
Embraces and promotes Safety Culture. Maintains a thorough knowledge and actively practices promoting safe working conditions in accordance with Aggreko’s Best Operating Practices, and any additional regulations as specified by our customers. Leads by example.
Actively promotes a working environment that is both positive and productive for all team members.
Insures that all repaired equipment meets Central Repair standards before being Green Tagged for shipment to customers. Actively works to deliver zero customer quality complaints.
Due to years of experience, will have the skills and knowledge to identify and rectify potential problems with equipment and applications before they happen. They will also work with Technical Specialists to analyze equipment failures and develop corrective actions, including retrofits, to prevent reoccurrence.
Possesses the ability to perform maintenance, service and to repair the majority of Aggreko equipment utilized by the area where they are based.
Will spend the majority of their time leading other technicians, repairing equipment, and helping operations related areas of the business run smoothly. They must demonstrate positive, professional leadership skills.
Develops the abilities of the technicians that they are responsible for including on the job coaching and teaching, scheduling training courses, insuring the completion of VLS courses, assisting the Central Repair Manager in documenting and conducting performance review discussions.
Is an active member of the shop leadership team and takes action to support the mission and KPI improvement of the shop team.
Must be able to troubleshoot Aggreko equipment failures, as well as the application itself both in-house and on customer locations.
Completes required paperwork/documentation, including service orders, expense reports and/or service reports within prescribed time periods, in an accurate manner which may include data entry and general use of relevant computer systems and software as directed.
Reviews various equipment and preventive maintenance reports of technicians in area of responsibility to ensure information is accurate.
Utilizes mathematical formulas as needed to verify equipment performance (i.e. to determine nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements).
Maintains through knowledge and capability to read and understand schematics.
Responds to after-hours calls as needed.
Obtains & maintains necessary certifications required to operate any equipment as dictated by federal, state and/or local ordinances.
Prepare various reports as directed to maintain accurate records on equipment and preventive maintenance

Desired Skills:
