Position: Public Relations/Social Media Specialist
Prepare reports and maintain documentation regarding public relations activities.
Implement media relations efforts, including media list development (key local and national reporters across all channels of media).
Coordinate media and planning efforts around special events
Cultivate stories from all offices to pitch to media.
Work closely with the development of social media to coordinate postings to website and social media channels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, advertising, marketing, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in marketing and public relations.
Proven track record of success in placing stories in a range of media.
Strong project management skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
Exceptional communication skills, including strong verbal and copywriting ability.
Proven experience consistently delivering effective strategic social media programs, with demonstrated ability to develop annual and campaign-based social media plans.
