Register with LEDA to be notified of upcoming projects, new services, and to receive requests for properties. We work closely with commercial real estate agents and developers from the Acadiana Region to be able to provide information on sites that might meet the location requirements of clients that come to LEDA. Once the specifications for a site are communicated to LEDA, we research potential locations and communicate the needs to our commercial contacts. Our team assists in packaging all sites that are submitted along with any other information that is requested. We continue to build the relationship with the client and promote Lafayette as a location for the project. If you have submitted any sites during this match-making process, this is where you can look for a monthly update on the status of each request.
Market Your Properties!
LEDA provides information on available properties in the area and enables our clients to browse commercial properties for their expansion or new business venture. Our property database is populated with available land and buildings that you provide. This system allows for departments within our organization to respond to our clients' requests in a timely manner, and assist you in marketing your listing.
Send your property listings to Victoria Tran to be evaluated and added to the database.
Temporary Sites: Preparing for Emergency Response: In preparation to provide quick response to emergency crews or local businesses that may be temporarily displaced during hurricane season, LEDA is working with Economic Development agencies and contacts along the Gulf Coast. We are currently updating our list of temporary lease spaces and will be sharing real estate information with other communities across the state in the event of an emergency. The focus of this alliance is to temporarily accommodate any of the businesses that may be affected by a storm in any of our areas. Please contact Victoria Tran via email or directly at (337) 593-1410, if you or your property owner is willing to lease on a 3, 6, or 12 month basis. Also, please be sure to let us know if you have a large amount of space available for parking any emergency response vehicles for a temporary period of time.
