Position: PARALEGAL

This job will assist General Counsel in all stages of corporate transactions and with the preparation of documents necessary to comply with federal, state and local regulations in the conduct of business activities.

Qualifications:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: (List duties or tasks critical to success)
• Ensure compliance with various states' incorporation rules, corporate filing guidelines and required documentation for corporate matters
• Act as the principal liaison between the Legal Department and the operations team to coordinate filing of all applicable regulatory licensing requirements
• Assist in the administration of corporate business filings and regulatory licensing compliance
• Prepare and file paperwork required by various regulatory bodies
• Prepare and file annual reports
• Maintenance of corporate records
• Notarize documents
• Assist in the administration of the contract life cycle
• Assist in the maintenance of the contracts database
• Assist with certificate of insurance and bond requests
• Assist with reporting needs and requests
• Respond to requests for information
• Perform legal research as necessary
• Other duties as required

Minimum Requirements:
> Bachelor’s Degree
> Associate’s Degree and completion of an ABA-approved paralegal studies program
> Notary Public

Technical Requirements:
> Proficient in Microsoft Office
> Experience with ISynergy a plus

Other miscellaneous qualities:
> Strong organizational and prioritization skills, critical thinking and attention to detail
> Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
> Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
> Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
> Solid time management and follow-through skills
> Strong computer skills
