Under the supervision of the Contracts Manager, the Contracts Specialist will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, monitoring and maintaining various agreements, contracts and leases in order to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations and to reduce the overall risk to the Company. The Contracts Specialist will serve in an administrative capacity for all contract matters. The candidate will also be responsible for researching and preparing reports as needed
Qualifications: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Draft, edit, review and negotiate various contracts including master service agreements, subcontracts, vendor agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, leases, licenses, permits, etc. • Analyze contract requirements, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and company policies; suggest edits to bring drafts in line with group and business unit policies. • Coordinate executive review, negotiation, and execution of contracts. • Answer customer questions around contractual terms and agreements. • Act as a liaison between the Legal Department and the operations team to coordinate review and approval of contracts. • Assist in the management of the contract life cycle. • Assist with certificate of insurance requests from clients. • Assist with reporting needs and requests. • Assist with managing and improving contract database. • Other duties as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree • Advanced Degree Preferred • Juris Doctor a plus • Contracts review and administration experience Technical Requirements:
• Proficiency with Microsoft office products Other Miscellaneous qualities:
• Experience with contract administration or working knowledge of a variety of contract types. • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, self-motivated, and adaptable. • Positive attitude and self-disciplined. • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, critical thinking and attention to detail. • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies and procedures. • Solid time management and follow-through skills. • Strong computer skills.
