The Production Manager – Night Shift is responsible for the management of personnel, materials, and assets of assigned areas to ensure all KPIs and production goals are met.  They are responsible for monitoring and ensuring that standards for production, quality, safety, and cost performance are met.  

 

In this job, you’ll do things like:

  • Manage production schedule and resolve production problems related to methods, equipment, materials, and manpower.  
  • Manage the process and people to produce flavored sauces and movement of sauces  
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Policies, and all other company standards in each area. 
  • Maintain a safe work environment for all employees by ensuring that equipment is clean and functional, and all safety devices used.  
  • Monitor and validate product quality, perform regular quality audits and ensure that all quality checking equipment is functioning on the bottling lines.  
  • Complete daily shift change report and other reports as needed.  
  • Ensure appropriate training and cross training for all team members.  
  • Budgeting, financial performance, and cost control are key accountabilities.

Qualifications:

Must-haves to apply for this job:

  • 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience 
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Strong Excel skills 


What will give you an edge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or related field
  • 5-7 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Control (QC) standards
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
